Answers to the questions we hear most, grouped by topic. Every rule and figure is also on the Policies page, and a real person reads every message.
Booking
- Do I need an account to book?
- No. Book as a guest with your email and phone number, and manage the booking later with its code and that email. An account is optional; it keeps your trips in one place and counts your rentals towards repeat-guest rewards.
- How far ahead do I need to book?
- Same-day bookings are fine with at least 3 hours' notice, and you can book up to 12 months ahead. Rentals are by the day, with a minimum of 1 day.
- Why are weekly and monthly rentals cheaper?
- Every car has its own weekly discount from 7 days and a larger monthly discount from 30 days, shown on the car's page. A trip that sits inside Friday 6:00 PM to Monday 9:00 AM is priced as 2 days.
- Is the price really all-in?
- Yes. The daily price includes delivery, collection and unlimited kilometres, with no booking fee. Protection, extras, additional drivers and Malaysia travel are added as their own lines before you pay. On public holidays, school holidays and long weekends, peak days cost 15% more, and the quote shows which days those are.
Delivery and collection
- Where do you deliver?
- Anywhere in Singapore, including Sentosa and the far west and north, at any hour and on any day, at no extra charge. The car can be collected from a different address from the one it was delivered to.
- How precise is the arrival time?
- Our driver arrives within a 30-minute window you choose. Your trip page shows where the driver was last seen and when they expect to reach you. If they arrive after the window, we credit you S$20 for every 30 minutes late, up to one day's rental, automatically.
- Can you meet me at Changi Airport?
- Yes. Choose Changi Airport, your terminal and flight number at checkout. We track the flight, so a delay moves your driver with it, and they meet you at arrivals.
- Can someone else take the car for me?
- Not at delivery. The main driver must be there in person with their licence and the payment card, or the PayNow reference. Returns can be unattended: leave the car and key at an agreed carpark or lockbox and submit the return photos and location from your trip page.
Payment and the deposit
- How do I pay?
- By PayNow or card when you book. The rental total and the deposit are charged together, and shown separately.
- When do I get the deposit back?
- The S$500 deposit is refunded within 7 days after the trip, less any ERP, parking, fines or other charges, each itemised on your receipt.
- Do you have repeat-guest rewards?
- After 3 completed rentals, we waive the deposit and upgrade you at no charge whenever a better car is available. Referral codes give S$30 off to both you and the friend you refer.
Changing or cancelling
- Can I cancel for free?
- Until 24 hours before your delivery window. After that, we keep one day's rental and refund the rest. The deposit is always refunded in full when you cancel. Your trip page shows the exact deadline and what you would get back if you cancelled now.
- Can I extend or change my trip?
- Yes, from your trip page, as long as the car is free. A change is priced at the daily rate you booked at, and you see the difference before you confirm it.
- I booked without an account. How do I find my booking?
- Open Manage booking and enter your booking code (it looks like SD-7F3K2A) and the email you booked with.
During your trip
- Who pays for ERP and parking?
- You do, at cost, with no mark-up. Every car has an ERP 2.0 On-Board Unit, and the charges appear on your receipt after the trip. Traffic and parking fines during your rental are yours too, with a S$30 admin fee for each.
- Can I drive into Malaysia?
- Yes, into Peninsular Malaysia only. Choose Malaysia travel at checkout (S$40 a day). The car carries its own VEP tag; bring a Touch 'n Go card, leave Singapore with at least three-quarters of a tank, and buy RON97 only in Malaysia.
- What do I do after an accident?
- Make sure everyone is safe and call 999 or 995 if anyone is hurt. Photograph the scene and both cars, exchange particulars, then tell us within 24 hours. Reporting later means your protection tier no longer applies.
- What if the car breaks down?
- For a breakdown, call 24-hour roadside assistance on the number in the car and on your trip page. If the car cannot carry on, or it is damaged through no fault of yours, we deliver a replacement.
Drivers and documents
- Who can drive?
- Drivers 21 or older, with no upper age limit. P-plate drivers are welcome. There is no young-driver fee. Additional drivers cost S$10 a day each and must meet the same rules.
- Can I drive on a foreign licence?
- Yes, if you are visiting or have lived in Singapore for less than 12 months. Unless your licence was issued in an ASEAN country, bring an International Driving Permit or an official English translation with it.
- What do you check at the door?
- Your driving licence, your NRIC, FIN or passport, and the payment card, which must be in the main driver's name, or the PayNow reference if you paid by PayNow. If the checks fail we cannot hand over the car, and we keep the first day's rental.
