Terms of rental
The agreement between you and SwiftDrive when you rent one of our cars, in plain words. The figures and day-to-day rules are on the Policies page, which forms part of these terms.

Who you are renting from
SwiftDrive owns every car on this website. When you book, your rental agreement is with SwiftDrive and no one else. In these terms, “we” means SwiftDrive and “you” means the person who makes the booking, who is also the main driver.
Your booking
A booking is confirmed when you receive a booking code and the trip appears on its trip page. You can book with or without an account; without one, you manage the booking with its code and your email. Keep the code to yourself, since anyone with both can see and change the trip.
The price is in Singapore dollars and is shown line by line before you pay. The rental total and the security deposit are charged when you book, by PayNow or card.
Cancellation and changes
You may cancel or change a trip as the Policies page sets out, including what we keep if you cancel late. We may cancel a trip if the main driver fails the checks at the door, if a booking matches our do-not-rent list, or if the car cannot be supplied and you decline the replacement we offer; in the last two cases you are refunded in full.
Drivers
Only the main driver and the additional drivers named on the booking may drive, and each must meet the eligibility rules on the Policies page. The payment card must be in the main driver's name.
Using the car
Drive within Singapore, and into Peninsular Malaysia only if you chose Malaysia travel. Follow Singapore law and the rental policies: no smoking, vaping or drinking in the car, no racing, no carrying passengers or goods for payment, and no subletting the car.
Every car has a telematics unit and a dashcam. By renting, you agree that we may use the data and footage to check how the car is driven, to find the car, and to handle accidents, fines and claims, as the Privacy page describes.
Damage, accidents and protection
You are responsible for the car from delivery until collection, or, for an unattended return, until our staff reach it. Your protection tier limits what you pay for damage to the car, except in the cases listed on the Insurance and protection page. Accidents must be reported to us within the time set out on the Policies page.
Charges after the trip
ERP, parking, fuel or charge top-ups, fines and the fees on the Policies page are deducted from the deposit, and anything above it is charged to you. Every charge is itemised on your receipt, and you can dispute a damage claim within the window the Policies page gives.
Our responsibilities
We deliver a clean, roadworthy car within the window you booked, with the fuel or charge level recorded at handover. We credit you if we are late, replace the car if it breaks down through no fault of yours, and give you the same model or a free upgrade if the car you booked cannot go out.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore decide any dispute about them. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under Singapore law, including the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The terms that apply to a trip are the ones in force when you booked it.
