How door-to-door delivery and collection works
Every SwiftDrive car is delivered and collected, any hour, island-wide, in a 30-minute window. What happens at your door, at Changi and on return.

Delivery is part of the price
There is no rental counter and no queue. Every SwiftDrive rental is delivered to you and collected from you by our own staff, and both legs are included in the daily price: no delivery fee, no zones and no surcharge for early mornings, late nights, Sundays or public holidays.
We deliver anywhere on the island, including Sentosa, Changi Airport and the far west and north, to a home, an office, a hotel or a hospital entrance.
Choosing your slots
You choose a 30-minute window for delivery and another for collection, at any hour of any day. Same-day bookings are welcome; the booking form shows the earliest window we can meet.
The collection address does not have to match the delivery address, and changing it costs nothing. A car delivered to your flat in Tampines can be collected from your office in Tanjong Pagar, your workshop in Sin Ming or Changi Airport.
What to have ready at delivery
The main driver needs to meet the car in person; we cannot hand it to a family member, a concierge or a colleague on your behalf. Please have these to hand:
- Your driving licence, and your International Driving Permit or official English translation if you drive on a foreign licence.
- Your NRIC or passport.
- The payment card in your name that you booked with, or the PayNow reference.
- For a condominium or office, a word with the guardhouse so our driver is let in.
The handover
Your driver walks around the car with you and photographs it from every side, inside and out, with the fuel or charge level and the odometer. You both sign on screen, and the photos and signature appear on your trip page straight away, so there is a shared record of the car's condition from the first minute.
If you would like a walk-through of the car itself, ask: how the seats and mirrors adjust, where the charging port is, how the OBU and the driver aids work. Child seats and boosters you asked for come with the car, and every car carries chilled water, tissues, phone cables and an umbrella.
If your licence or ID cannot be verified at the door, we cannot hand over the car, and the first day's rental is kept.
Knowing where your driver is
Once your driver sets off, the trip page shows their live location and arrival time, and we send updates on WhatsApp. If we arrive after your window, a credit is applied automatically: S$20 for every 30 minutes late, up to one day's rental.
If you are running late yourself, message us. Your driver will wait 30 minutes; after that a missed-handover fee of S$50 applies.
Meeting a car at Changi Airport
Add your terminal (T1 to T4) and flight number when you book. We follow the flight, so an early landing or a delay moves your driver with it, and your driver meets you in the arrival hall rather than at the kerb, where Changi does not allow cars to wait.
For a collection on your way out, choose a window that leaves you comfortable time for check-in and bag drop. We confirm the meeting point with you on WhatsApp beforehand.
Collection
Bring the car back to the fuel or charge level it arrived with, and take a last look in the boot, the door pockets and the glovebox. Your driver repeats the photo walk-around and you both sign again, and the rental ends there.
If plans change during the rental, you can extend or change the booking online. There is a 30-minute grace period at the end of a rental; if you need longer than that, extend the booking before the collection window.
Returning the car without meeting us
You may also leave the car and key at a carpark or lockbox we have agreed with you in advance. The rental ends when you submit your return photos and the car's location on the trip page.
Until our staff reach the car, you remain responsible for it, so park legally, lock it and keep the key exactly where we agreed. Good return photos protect you:
- All four corners of the car, close enough to show the panels and wheels.
- The dashboard with the fuel or charge level and odometer visible.
- The front and back seats and the boot, empty.
- The key in the lockbox or agreed place, and the carpark lot number or a landmark.
Cancelling
Cancellation is free until 24 hours before your delivery window. After that, one day's rental is kept and the rest is refunded.
